It’s that time of the year, when people browse the web to find some of the most exciting pumpkin carving stencils and patterns, to win the unofficial competition between neighbors with the most original Jack O’ Lantern. It’s a fun, creative time, filled with laughter and joy, a sweet time that begins the holiday season with some of the most original activities.
Soon, children will put on their monster outfits and go trick-or-treating. Adults will party, at the world’s biggest masquerade – Halloween is celebrated by people all over the world, not only in the United States, Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Sure, other countries are just “playing along” – with parties in some bars and nightclubs. There, Halloween is not a tradition, it’s just fun.

The term becomes associated with the Halloween in 1866. Previously, the carved pumpkin was only associated with the harvest season.
After this bit of history, it is my pleasure to let you enjoy these ten absolutely stunning pumpkin carving ideas. For those of you who want to see even more, the Life magazine has a beautiful, and diverse, slideshow.
